ESIA Campfire Program Talk

When: October 5 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm

Where: Oh! Ridge Campground in June Lake

Topic: Bighorn Sheep

An ESIA interpretive specialist will give evening program talks at campgrounds up and down the Eastern Sierra from July to October.

“Understanding our surroundings and those that live there too is so important to the protection and enjoyment of what we have. The campfire programs were created to share information about the natural world with those that were enjoying the Inyo National Forest campgrounds, says Jeff Gabriel, Executive Director of ESIA.

The events are FREE and open to the surrounding community. You don’t have to be staying at the campground.

Campground programs are offered as a part of the interpretive agreement ESIA has with the Inyo National Forest. This year marks the financial support of the Vista Recreation, the Inyo National Forest campground concessionaire.

  • Programs are outside and subject to cancellation without warning.
  • An adult must accompany children on all programs.
  • Dress for changing weather.
