The American Alpine Club and Tenaya invite you to the world-class climbing mecca of Bishop, CA for the Bishop Craggin’ Classic, this October 18-20!

Our Bishop Craggin’ is so popular that we decided to move our location this year to accommodate more climbers like you! We’ll be hosting the festivities on Church Street, right in the heart of the town of Bishop. Explore the crimpy boulders of this breathtaking mountainous desert environment, help raise money for the AAC and BACC, and enjoy the prime sending temps.

This 3-day event will also include clinics led by pro climbers and guides, the cutest crag dog contest, yoga classes, an artisan market and vendor village, stewardship opportunities, a silent auction to score deals on gear, delicious food, and FREE BEER. This year our vendor village will be at 327 Church St. Bishop, CA. A unique feature of this Craggin’ is the annual performance by AkaMya Cultural Group, who perform Native dance and educational presentations to honor the land we are recreating on. 

The Craggin’ at Bishop always has a lot of heart, but the soul of this event is climbers like you! Grab your climbing shoes and join us!
